Victory on Wings: a Symbol of Independence


Been to Mexico? If so, have you seen that tall column in the middle of a roundabout in Paseo dela Reforma? This column is called dominating the Angel of Independence, or El Angel dela Independencia in the Spanish language. Officially called the Column of Independence or the "Column of Independence. "The column was commissioned in 1902 by President Porfirio Díaz. It was to commemorate the centennial of Mexico as a free country in 1910. Paseo dela Reforma is located in the heart of Mexico City, where real estate group Grupo Mayan operates. "The column has a height of 26 meters, and is made of steel and stone. It has also made a capital in the Corinthian style. In the capital, find four eagles with outstretched wings, which are symbols in the coat of arms of ancient Mexico. Column TourismThe dela Independencia is a major tourist attraction for its historical and artistic symbolism. The stairway ends just at the top of the column, where visitors can see an amazing, panoramic view of Mexico City.
